As relationships proliferate within emergent systems, pathways begin to form through which influence, energy, and information move. Yet transmission is never uniform. Every channel also introduces resistance, interruption, and delay. These paintings explore the space between connectivity and obstruction, where structure arises through the continual negotiation of conductive and resistant forces. Working with clay, paint, and excavation, the surfaces record the formation of provisional pathways whose patterns emerge through interaction rather than predetermined design.
